FAQ
Questions &
answers.
Everything you need to know before your visit.
What is a wine tasting?
Traditional wine tastings are small samples (<1oz) from our current rotating wine selection.
How much does a wine tasting cost?
Tastings are $5.
Do you ship wine?
We do not currently ship wine due to high costs and limited utility.
Do you sell wine by the glass?
Yes! Glasses start at only $5 and many wines are available for enjoyment in the tasting room.
Why are flights unavailable unlike many other wineries?
We are a bottle shop and not a bar. I want you to find a wine you like and (hopefully!) take one home. Besides, Phil has to wash the glasses by hand and that is just a lot to ask.
What are your tasting room hours?
Deerfoot Downtown: Friday and Saturday 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Closed Monday through Thursday. Shoemakersville (1492 Ridge Road): Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Can I bring a group?
Yes, groups are welcome. We recommend calling ahead for groups of six or more so we can plan staffing.
Are dogs welcome at the tasting rooms?
Yes. Dogs are welcome at both of our tasting rooms and on the farm grounds.
Are the tasting rooms wheelchair accessible?
Our Lancaster tasting room (Deerfoot Downtown, 348 N. Queen Street) is not currently wheelchair accessible. Please call us at (717) 809-4529 if you need accommodations and we will do our best to help.
Do you serve food at the tasting rooms?
We do not serve food at either tasting room, but you are welcome to bring your own. In Lancaster, many guests pick up takeout from the restaurants along N. Queen Street and bring it in to enjoy alongside their wine.
